Remodeling? No!
Posted: May 28, 2008 – 2:43 pmI had no idea it was coming. I had my breakfast as usual, then the trouble started. Furniture was moved, there were lots of bags and buckets. Then I heard the word, the dreaded “remodeling” word. My world was just about to be turned upside down like a pineapple cake.
The first night they were at it until past 10 p.m. The next day, the refrigerator was moved. The floor in the bathroom started to evolve into something weird. Then the place started to stink.
The confusion continued throughout the weekend. There were late hours, more stink, and new things started popping up like new curtains. Furniture was moved. I lost my hideout under the painting table. All this for the sake of remodeling? Well, I’m just hoping things will be done soon. I’m so behind on my sleep.
