Okay, so maybe she’s gotten a little heavy. It’s not for lack of trying that she hasn’t lost the weight we had hoped. She is on a good quality diet.
Basically, it’s a third of a can with about 1/4 cup of dry, twice a day. She likes it. That’s what is important. Never want to deal with a finicky cat. In addition to her food, she gets one CET Cat Treat a day. CET Cat Treats are a dental supplement that helps her keep her pearls white and healthy. I have the scars to prove it.
Well, Sophie is an intelligent cat. She figures things out like how to open cupboards. She also gets bored quickly. The laser light worked for a bit, but after awhile, the only one getting the exercise was the one flashing the light all around. That’s when we came up with a new game.
The cat treats are cylinder shaped, about the same size as a Tootsie Roll. Sophie has learned to fetch. So, when it’s time for the treat, we toss it into the next room. She’ll bring it back and the game continues.
The rooms aren’t large, but she gets a good workout running back and forth. What’s more is that she genuinely enjoys it. She gets downright cranky if the game is late starting.
