As a cat, I may not have a lot of good things to say about dogs. Yet, there certainly is a reason that they are man’s best friend. Cats, on the other hand, our woman’s best friend. Welcome to National Dog Day!

We all know about dog days. If you are like most of the country, you are knee deep in them. However, today celebrates dogs for the companionship they offer and to recognize the threat that both dogs and cats have—homelessness.

Pets  are the sources of unconditional love. Your spouse may get angry for you. Your boss may under-appreciate you. Your friends may ignore you. Your dog will be your constant companion.
