I Hate Summer Vacation
Posted: June 24, 2008 – 6:53 pmI have to admit to a little selfishness here as I debate the merits and downside of summer vacations. I hate them and here’s why.
10. Cold afternoon supper. I get fed once a day and it gets cold by midday. Hiss.
9. No regular schedule. How can I plan my day?
8. No cuddling at night. How is a kitty to manage?
7. No late night catnip. I mean, really?
6. No cuddling during the morning. Need I say more?
5. Someone I don’t know is trying to comb me–all over. I don’t let Chris and Norm do that. Why should I let anyone else?
4. I’m cranky because I’ve slept too long. Hiss.
3. The pet sitter just doesn’t understand me. What? I only have 61 vocalizations.
2. No Norm to pick on. Have to take the aggression out on someone.
1. I’m lonely!
But now they’re home and boy, am I happy.
